با جستجویی در اسناد ویکی لیکس درباره بی بی سی فارسی نکات قابل توجهی بدست میاید.
یکی از این اسناد با موضوع " SURVEYING EU MEMBERS ON THEIR IRAN CIVIL SOCIETY AND DEMOCRACY" به تاریخ ۲۰۰۷ March ۱, ۱۴:۱۵ Thursday به تقاضای همکاری دولت انگلیس از اعضای اتحادیه اروپا میپردازد که به جمع اوری اطلاعات درباره تمدن و جامعه ایرانی بپردازند:
" Department wishes to gain current information about EU member states, efforts to promote democratic reform in Iran, including civil society, respect for human rights, and freedom of information "
در این سند برنامه دولت انگلیس برای راه اندازی بی بی سی فارسی مشخص شده است:
"The UK BBC Farsi TV satellite channel will launch in January ۲۰۰۸, and will form part of a tri-media (radio, online and TV) UK Farsi service."
شبکه ای که هزینه های آن بالغ بر ۴۸ ملیون دلار میشود:
"Total cost: ۱۵ million pounds (approximately USD ۳۰ million) per year in addition to ۹ million pounds (USD ۱۸ million) in start-up costs."
از دیگر سیاستهای دولت انگلیس در این سند توانمند سازی افراد همسو با این دولت و ایجاد

attention and pressure on the Iranian regime, and to provide some degree
of political cover for activists." “
" Empowering Human Rights Defenders/Index on Censorship: a project to bring together Iranian human rights advocates with European NGOs for English language training in Tehran and Shiraz tailored to the needs of human rights lawyers, advocates and other civil society activists."
در این میان توانمند کردن زنان به صورت ویژه مطرح شده است:
" Empowering female advocates in family courts: The training of law student and NGO volunteers to assist women bringing family court cases."
در این میان آمریکا به واسطه انگلیس از همکاری سایر کشورهای اروپائی استقبال میکند:
"The United States would welcome collaboration with interested European partners, whether in the public or private sector, to advance our mutual goal of a more democratic, open, stable Iran one that could play a constructive role in the international community instead of a destabilizing one"
در نهایت استراتژی نهایی عبارت است از :
" We are pleased to provide you with information on U.S. efforts to promote reform in Iran. Our strategy is to maintain a consistent message on core democratic values while ensuring protection of the courageous Iranian men and women working to advance democratic reform within their own country."
جالب توجه آنکه علت اینکار فشار آوردن به ایران است زیرا ایران به دنبال هژمونی منطقه ای است:
" Iran's totalitarian regime, disregard for human rights and the rule of law, state sponsorship of terrorism, hegemonic ambitions in the Middle East, and nuclear ambitions all pose serious threats in the Middle East and worldwide."
به صراحت در این سند اعتراف شده است:
